The British Malaysian Society invites members and friends to welcome in the New Year 2024 with a Makan buffet dinner party as part of our BMS 40th Anniversary Year Celebrations.

Nearest Tube stations: Bayswater, Queensway
Dress Code: Business attire or smart casual
Tube Strike
We are aware that the planned Tube strike may affect some people who have booked or planning to attend this event. However, other transport services in London such as DLR, Elizabeth Line, the Overground and buses will still be running.

The venue Med Salleh Kopitiam, 35-39 Inverness Terrace, London W2 3JS is close to
Bayswater and Queensway stations (which will be closed) but also not far from Paddington Station on the Elizabeth Line (best exit is Eastbourne Terrace). Options then include:
No. 27 bus from Paddington (Bus stop F or D) destination Hammersmith Grove, get off at "Queensway" (Stop H), then walk down Queensway to Inverness Terrace (7 min),
No. 7 bus from Paddington (Bus stop F or D) destination East Acton, get off Westbourne Grove/Queensway (Stop G) then walk down Queensway to Inverness Terrace (7 min)
No. 36 bus from Paddington (Bus stop F or D) destination Queen's Park, get off Porchester Road/Royal Oak (Stop J) then walk to Inverness Terrace (8 min),
Walk from Paddington Station to Inverness Terrace (17 min).
